Our History
Elite Mold is located in Metro-Detroit and was founded in 1982 by Robert and Joseph Mandeville. By 1994, the company had grown so large that it was divided into two facilities: Elite Mold & Engineering and Elite Plastic Products. Together, the two companies are able to serve a wide range of our customers’ needs; from prototype and low-volume tooling all the way to high-volume production needs. Today, almost 38 years later, Elite Mold has a great staff of skilled workers, with 10 molding machines, 2 EDM machines, and 10 CNC machines.
We are a certified Minority Business Enterprise, Veteran Owned Business, and ITAR/DDTC registered company. Our core strength is building high-quality plastic injection molds for prototype and low-volume jobs. We offer all the services needed for custom injection molded plastics. We pride ourselves on our fast lead times, quality molds at a low cost, and continued history of being a family-owned and operated business.
