Carbon Digital Light Synthesis™ (DLS) is the photochemical process that uses both light and oxygen to build parts. DLS™ works by projecting UV images generated by a digital light projector, through an oxygen-permeable window in a reservoir of UV curable resin.

Carbon DLS produces outstanding part quality with great detail. This cutting-edge additive manufacturing technology allows us to achieve the complex part features and close tolerances that many of today’s 3D printing projects demand.
Elite uses Carbon’s M2 3D printer powered by Continuous Liquid Interface Production (CLIP) technology.

- Build Layer – Standard: 100 micron; On request: 50 micron and 25 micron.
- Build Volume – 189 x 118 × 326 mm (7.44 × 4.65 × 12.83 in)
- Manufacturing Tolerances – +/- 0.005 in
- Minimum Wall Thickness – 1mm
- Finishes – Standard finish with support removal and basic surface sanding; (Custom finishing also available).
- Lead Time – Typically between 3-5 days.

UMA 90
UMA 90 (Urethane Methacrylate) is a rigid 1-part resin similar to conventional SLA resins.
FPU 50
FPU 50 (Flexible Polyurethane) is a rigid 2 part resin that is unique in the additive industry, with properties similar to polypropylene. Offering high impact strength and cycle life, it is designed to withstand repetitive stresses.
RPU 130
RPU 130 (Rigid Polyurethane) is a two-part resin that offers a combination of high toughness and heat resistance.
EPX 82
EPX 82 (Epoxy) combines functional toughness, stiffness, and temperature resistance making it useful in a variety of automotive, industrial, and consumer applications.
RPU 70
RPU 70 (Rigid Polyurethane) offers the most versatile rigid 2-part resin. Stiff and strong, RPU 70 performs well under stress, outperforming similar plastics such as ABS.
LOCTITE® IND405™ Clear Resin
LOCTITE® IND405™ Clear is now available for Carbon printers to produce parts with a frosted clear aesthetic in a tough one-part resin compatible with the Smart Part Washer.
LOCTITE® IND147™ Resin
LOCTITE® IND147™ is now available for Carbon printers. It provides high stiffness and high temperature resistance in a one-part resin.
EPU 40
EPU 40 (Elastomeric Polyurethane) is a high performance elastomer with energy absorption, high elasticity and tear resistance.
EPX 86 FR
EPX 86 FR offers an unmatched combination of flame retardance, functional toughness, high strength, and long-term stability. It is well suited for consumer, automotive, and industrial applications that require UL 94 V-0 or 25.853(a) ratings with flame-retardant and self-extinguishing features.
