Elite Mold & Engineering just celebrated 2023’s Macomb Manufacturing Day on October 5th at our state-of-the-art facility in Shelby Township. We invited students from around the Macomb County, Michigan area to come by and learn all about the modern world of plastic injection molding and 3D printing technology.
We’re happy to report that we had an outstanding turnout of young, eager minds excited to step out of the classroom for a look behind the curtain on the factory floor. What is Macomb County, Michigan Manufacturing Day?
Manufacturing Day is a nationally-recognized event held on the first Friday every October. Technically, we have more of a Manufacturing Week for Macomb County – held October 2nd through 6th for 2023.
The event was created to celebrate the innovative and ever-evolving world of American manufacturing, focused on education and inspiration for students interested in an industrial career. It’s a great opportunity for today’s students to connect current classroom learning with real, on-the-job skills, hopefully helping to inspire tomorrow’s generation of manufacturing industry professionals.
